Removing Sliding-Roof Panel

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. 
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. 
• These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown for the front and rear. 

1. Raise the sliding roof fully.
2. Remove the bellows.
   1. 2.1. Unclip the bellows from the panel -A-  .
   2. 2.2. Slide the bellows forward slightly -B-  and unclip it from the upper rear catch -1-  .
   3. 2.3. Unclip the bellows from the lower edge -C-  .

3. Remove sliding-roof panel.
   1. 3.1. Loosen the center fastening screw -2-  .
   2. 3.2. Unscrew front and rear fastening screws -3-  .

4. Lift the panel up and remove it.
