Installing Sliding Roof

Place sliding roof in installation position.
1. 1.1. Guide the sliding roof through the rear lid opening into the passenger compartment with the help of another person.
2. 1.2. Fit the sliding roof on the roof frame.
3. 1.3. Screw in fastening screws so that the frame for the sliding roof can still be moved slightly.
4. 1.4. Move the sliding roof until the locating bores are free.
5. 1.5. Position the sliding roof -1- at the locating bores using the punches -2 and 3- and tighten to Diameter 12 mm .

Secure the sliding roof.
1. 2.1. Screw in front fastening screws -2- from the inside out and tighten to Tightening Torque 8 Nm (6 ft. lb.) .

2. 2.2. Screw in side fastening screws -2- from front to rear and tighten to Tightening Torque 8 Nm (6 ft. lb.) .

3. 2.3. Remove the punches -2 and 3- from the sliding roof -1- .

Connect plug connection for sunroof motor -2- .

Secure water drain hoses.
1. 4.1. Connect front water drain hoses -2- to the connection piece -1- .

2. 4.2. Connect rear water drain hoses -2- to the connection piece -1- .

3. 4.3. Check that the water drain hoses are fitted securely.
