Installing Rear Anti-Roll Bar

Information
The anti-roll bar must be positioned before tightening the fastening screws on the anti-roll-bar mount (= rear-axle support). Highest point on anti-roll bar arm to lower edge of longitudinal member, dimension -Z- .

This ensures that the position of the anti-roll bar in the support corresponds to the normal vehicle position.

Information
- All screws and threaded joints on the axle must be tightened in vehicle position. Vehicle position means: vehicle standing on its wheels or the wheel suspension is raised with a universal vehicle lift. Measurement -1- from the lower edge of the wing to the middle of the vehicle axle corresponds to vehicle position. The current height values can be found in
- Always observe the following points~
- On vehicles with air springs, the respective air spring must be bled using the Porsche System Tester.
> WM, 4301IN BLEEDING AND FILLING THE LEVELLING SYSTEM
- Screws and nuts are Geomet-coated and must not be greased.
- Guide in the anti-roll bar and fit and tighten four fastening screws hand-tight uniformly in vehicle position.
- Fit fastening nuts for the anti-roll bar at the connecting links and tighten hand-tight.
- Tighten fastening screws and fastening nuts for the anti-roll bar and connecting link to the specified tightening torques.
Anti-roll bar clamps to chassis subframe: > Tightening torque 50 (37 ftlb.) Nm --
Anti-roll bar to connecting link: > Tightening torque 100 (74 ftlb.) Nm --
