    Pulling in drive shaft

    1. 4.1  Tighten the drive shaft, in the 1st step "before installation" to > Tightening torque 130 Nm (95.9 ftlb.)  --.

To do this, place the wheel bearing housing with the drive shaft and tool on the floor (do not damage the brake cover plate) and pull in the drive shaft. A second mechanic is required! -arrow-

    2. 4.2  The second tightening step is performed when the wheel bearing housing is installed in the section on "Subsequent work".

  6. Use a new sealing ring in the rear axle differential and a new protective ring and circle/ip on the drive shaft.
  7. Fit the wheel bearing housing (second mechanic required). First, fit the drive shaft on the rear axle differential housing with a quick, strong tap.
