Installing Engine Mounting

Information 

The tightening specifications for the basic engine are stored centrally.

Tightening torques and assembly instructions for other assemblies (e.g. chassis, electric, transmission or body) or for peripheral engine equipment can be found in the corresponding documents.

1. The engine mounting is installed in reverse order to removal.
2. Tighten the fastening screws on the heat shield to > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)  .
3. Tighten fastening screws securing the engine carrier to the hydraulic mount.
4. Tighten fastening nuts securing the hydraulic mount to the bracket for auxiliary units.
5. Tighten fastening screw securing the bracket for auxiliary units/engine mounting to lower part of crankcase.
