Marking Engine Number

Information 

• Do not use steel stamping numbers to mark the engine number on direct fuel injection engines.
• Due to the material composition, the engine number must be engraved using the specified tool.

1. Connect > VAS 221 003 - Marker pen-1 -  to compressed air supply.
   1. Turn the adjusting ring -Arrows-  to open or close the compressed air supply.
   2. First test the tool on a test part.

2. Use the marking pen to engrave the engine number into the crankcase.

   1. To make a clear marking, use a 0.5 (5 mm) template!
