Installing Rear Apron
Information
- The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment.
- The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant.
- Some steps must be carried out automatically.
- Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.
- Fit rear apron with the help of another person.
- Clip top of rear apron into the attachment strip.
- Connect wire harness on the left side.
- Clip sides of rear apron into the attachment strip.
- Screw in fastening screws -4- underneath the rear apron and tighten to Tightening torque 3.5 Nm (2.5 ftlb.) .
- Screw in fastening screws -1- at the sides of the rear apron and tighten to Tightening torque 3 Nm (2 ftlb.) .
- Screw in fastening screws -1- on the wheel housing liner.
- Position guide pins -3- , screw in fastening screw -2- and tighten to Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) .
- Tighten fastening screws -1- in frame for light to Tightening torque 3 Nm (2 ftlb.) .
