Removing Rear Connecting Link (PDCC Actuator)

WARNING: Caustic fluids
  • Danger of chemical burns

→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.

→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.

NOTE: Aggressive fluids
  • Risk of damage to components and surfaces

→ Do not spill fluids.

→ In the event of contact, wash the component or surface with water.

→ Replace components that are already damaged.

Information 

  1. Mark banjo bolts before unscrewing them to make it easier to distinguish between them. 

    Place a suitable absorbent cloth underneath and use a drip pan if possible.

    Disconnect lower -1-  and upper -2-  pressure line from the connecting link.

  2. Unclip lines from the plastic holder on the connecting link.
  3. Detach connecting link from the wheel bearing housing → Detaching from wheel bearing housing  .

  4. Remove connecting link from the anti-roll bar → Detaching from anti-roll bar  . Counter with a Torx wrench while loosening the connecting link.
