Installing Rear Trailing Arm

  1. Installation is performed in reverse order to removal.
    1. 1.1. Move camber eccentric adjuster to the position marked during removal.
    2. 1.2. Move the wheel suspension into zero position (0 position). To do this, move the wheel carrier upwards using lifting equipment until the lower trailing arm is horizontal to the vehicle floor.
    3. 1.3. Use specified tightening torques.

      Level sensor to holder on trailing arm Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 

      Trailing arm to wheel bearing housing -3-  : Tightening torque 120 Nm (89 ftlb.) 

      Trailing arm to rear-axle carrier side section -2-  : Tightening torque 110 Nm (81.5 ftlb.) 

      Diagonal arm to trailing arm -4-  : Tightening torque 160 Nm (118 ftlb.)

      Brake air spoiler to trailing arm -1-  : Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
