Removing Lower Corner Plate

  1. Make cut.

  2. Drill through clinch points using a drill bit with a diameter of → Diameter: 6.5 mm  .

    Information 

    Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.

    1. 2.1. Drill punch rivets in area -C-  only as far as the plate lying underneath.

  3. Drill out spotwelds. Spotweld drill bit Nr.129 Pneumatic spotweld remover, Vario Drill WS 90 WE 1139 

    Information 

    Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.

    1. 3.1. Drill out spotwelds on lower corner plate from the inside as far as the plate lying underneath.

  4. Heat bonding areas. Hot-air blower, Leister-Electron/V.A.G. 1416 WE 1119

  5. Remove lower corner plate.
