Removing Front Wire Harness

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle  .
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well  .

For vehicles without ParkAssist, all steps that apply to the ParkAssist sensors are omitted.

Information 

All steps relating to the proximity sensor are not relevant for vehicles without KESSY.

1. Release electric plug connection on the side direction indicator light -arrow "A"-  and disconnect it -arrow "B"-  .

2. Vehicles with ParkAssist:  Release electric plug connection on the ParkAssist sensors -arrow "a"-  and disconnect it -arrow "B"-  .

3. Vehicles with Kessy:  Release electric plug connection for proximity sensor -arrow "a"-  and disconnect it -arrow "B"-  .

4. Release electric plug connection -1-  on auxiliary headlight -3-  and disconnect it.

5. Remove front wire harness.
   1. 5.1. Loosen fastening clamp -1-  (-arrow-  ).
   2. 5.2. Cut tie-wraps and remove sections.
   3. 5.3. Unclip front wire harness on the air grille -2-  .
   4. 5.4. Remove front wire harness.
