Lifting The Vehicle

Drive vehicle onto the lifting platform. Check the following while doing this:
- When driving onto a lifting platform, ensure that there is sufficient distance between the lifting platform and the vehicle.
- If work has to be carried out in the front footwell, the vehicle should be positioned in such a way that the doors can be opened far enough.
WARNING:
Vehicle can fall down
- Risk of squashing or crushing
- Risk of damage to the vehicle
→ Do not place any solid objects under the raised vehicle.

→ Ensure that the lifting platform is prevented from lowering.

→ Remove solid objects before lowering the vehicle.

→ Raise the vehicle only at the take-up points provided.
Raise the vehicle at the four jacking points.
Information
- Under no circumstances should the vehicle be lifted by the engine, transmission or axles .
- To avoid damage to the door sills and sill covers, the mounting plates on the lifting platform must be raised .
1. 2.1. Align the mounting plate of the lifting platform so that it lines up with the illustrated jacking point -arrow- .
  Repeat the procedure on the other side.
