Mounting Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)

Information
- Check the diaphragm spring on the flywheel for mechanical damage before installing it.
- A damaged flywheel must not be installed!
- Check diaphragm spring -1-
on the flywheel for damage.
There must be no dents or mechanical damage!
- 1.1. The flywheel must be replaced if the diaphragm spring is damaged -arrow-
.
NOTE: Mechanical overload of components
- Component will be damaged irreparably
→ Observe guidelines for assembly and disassembly
Information
Replace flange screws if necessary.
- 1.1. The flywheel must be replaced if the diaphragm spring is damaged -arrow-

- Fit Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK).
- 2.1. First, position and insert screws -3 to 6- . Then insert screws -1 and 2- .
- 2.2. Tighten all screws.
Tightening torque 85 Nm (63 ftlb.)
- 2.3. Remove restraining straps.

Information
- The coolant hoses must lock with an audible click when pushed into the plug-in couplings.
- Connect cooling water hoses -2-
.
- 3.1. Lock coolant hoses onto the plug-in couplings -1- . Pull to check that the hoses are secure.
- Connect cable plug -1-
for speed sender and vacuum hose -2-
.
- 4.1. Secure cable with a retaining clip -arrow- .
- Fit cable duct -1-
for B+ line.
- 5.1. Route and secure cable duct on the transmission. Fit and tighten external Torx screws (M6 x 16) -2-
.
Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
