Removing Front Connecting Link (PDCC Actuator)

WARNING:
Caustic fluids
- Danger of chemical burns
→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.
→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
NOTE:
Aggressive fluids
- Risk of damage to components and surfaces
→ Do not spill fluids.
→ In the event of contact, wash the component or surface with water.
→ Replace components that are already damaged.
Information
- Different banjo bolts are used to secure the pressure lines to the connecting link.
- Lower banjo bolt with check valve -1- , conventional upper banjo bolt -2- .
- Replace double seal on banjo bolts.
- Mark banjo bolts before unscrewing them to make it easier to distinguish between them.
Place a suitable absorbent cloth underneath and use a drip pan if possible.
Disconnect lower -1- and upper -2- pressure line from the connecting link.
- Loosen countersunk screw used to secure the retaining bracket to the connecting link -3- .
- Remove connecting link from spring strut → Mounting for upper connecting link .
- Remove connecting link from the anti-roll bar. To unscrew the fastening nut -1- , counter with screwdriver 9546 (Torx screwdriver) at the ball-joint pin.
