Information 

Fix the steering wheel with the wheels in straight-ahead position or remove the steering wheel with the wheels in straight-ahead position. If this is not done, the airbag contact unit will have to be moved to centre position after installation of the steering gear.

  1. Position and block the steering wheel and steering column at centre position.
  2. Raise the vehicle. → 4X00IN LIFTING THE VEHICLE
  3. Remove front wheels. → 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL .
  4. Remove cover for front underbody. → 519219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR FRONT UNDERBODY .
  5. Remove centre part of cover for centre underbody. → 519319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR CENTRE UNDERBODY
