Removing Front Brake Calliper

Information
The description applies to 4-piston and 6-piston brake callipers.
- Disconnect plug connection for the brake pad wear indicator and remove it from the holder.
Unclip wire harness for brake pad wear indicator at the brake line.
- Loosen the brake line on the brake calliper.
Collect brake fluid in a suitable container.
Close off the brake line and brake calliper bore using suitable stoppers.
- Detach the brake calliper from the wheel bearing housing (wheel carrier) -arrows-
and remove it.
If the edge of the brake disc is protruding at the outer diameter, first reset the brake pads slightly and evenly.
