Removing Gas-Discharge Control Unit

- Unscrew the three fastening screws for the control unit bracket -1- .
- Turn electric connector on the gas-discharge headlight -2- anti-clockwise (bayonet lock) and pull it off.
- Pull cable for gas-discharge headlight out of the terminal -3- .
- Carefully release and lever out the electric connector -4- on the control unit using a screwdriver.
- Unscrew the fastening screws -5- for loosening the control unit from the bracket.
- Press the clip on the bracket back and remove the control unit.
- Unscrew the two fastening screws for the coil -2- and the cable holder -1- and pull out the coil.
- Press terminal for gas-discharge headlight cable apart and pull out the cable.
- Unscrew the fastening screw for the control unit -3- and remove the control unit.
- Carefully release and lever out the electric connector -4- on the control unit using a screwdriver.
