Preliminary Work

  1. If the parking brake shoes, the wheel bearing or the wheel bearing housing need to be replaced, the following steps must be carried out: 

    PIWIS Tester II 9818  must be connected and started.

    1. 1.1. Select parking brake.
    2. 1.2. Select Maintenance/repairs.
    3. 1.3. Move to installation position.
  2. Remove rear spring strut.
