Preliminary Work

  1. Remove axle nut (securing drive shaft to wheel bearing housing). Also press the brake (second mechanic required) while the vehicle is stationary on the ground.
  2. Remove rear wheel. → 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL .
