Installing Front Wire Harness

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle  .
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well  .

For vehicles without ParkAssist, all steps that apply to the ParkAssist sensors are omitted.

Information 

All steps relating to the proximity sensor are not relevant for vehicles without KESSY.

1. Install front wire harness.
   1. 1.1. Position front wire harness in the front apron.
   2. 1.2. Clip in front wire harness on the air grille -2-  .
   3. 1.3. Secure front wire harness with a tie-wrap.
   4. 1.4. Secure front wire harness with the fastening clamp -1-  (-arrow-  ).

2. Connect electric plug connection -1-  to the auxiliary headlight -3-  until the lock engages securely.

3. Vehicles with Kessy:  Connect electric plug connection for proximity sensor -arrow-  until the lock engages securely.

4. Vehicles with ParkAssist:  Connect electric plug connection for the ParkAssist sensors -arrow-  until the lock engages securely.

5. Connect electric plug connection on the side direction indicator light -arrow-  until the lock engages securely.
