Installing Brake Master Cylinder

Install the brake master cylinder.
1. 1.1. Fit the brake master cylinder and screw on and tighten the fastening nuts -5- on the brake master cylinder. Tightening Torque 49 Nm (36 ft. lbs.) +/-4 Nm (+/-3 ft. lbs.)
2. 1.2. If the brake master cylinder was replaced, insert the brake fluid reservoir -1- into the brake master cylinder. Use two new rubber seals.
3. 1.3. Tighten the fastening screw -2- on the brake fluid reservoir. Tightening Torque 8 Nm (6 ft. lbs.)
4. 1.4. Fit brake lines -4- .
  Tightening Torque 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.)
5. 1.5. Plug in connectors -3- .
