Removing Rear Brake Calliper

  1. Disconnect the plug connection for the brake pad wear indicator -1-  and detach it from the holder -2-  .

  2. Loosen fastening screw on the holder for the brake pad wear indicator cable and for the brake line from the brake calliper.

    Disconnect the brake line at the brake calliper and collect brake fluid in a suitable container.

  3. Close off the brake line and brake calliper bore using suitable stoppers.
  4. Detach the brake calliper from the wheel bearing housing (wheel carrier) -arrows-  and remove it.

    If the edge of the brake disc is protruding at the outer diameter, first reset the brake pads slightly and evenly.
