Installing Spreader Device

NOTE: Do not twist brake shoe mountings when installing the actuator!
If using the same actuator again:
1. 2.1. Clean the spreader device carefully so as not to damage the dust boots.
2. 2.2. Visually inspect the dust boots for cracks.
Tighten new fastening screws on the spreader device -arrows- .
Tightening torque for securing spreader device to wheel carrier Initial tightening 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) Final tightening +60° .

Tighten fastening screws on brake cover plate.
Tightening torque for brake cover plate Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) .
Plug in electric plug connection -2- for the actuator -1- (-A- ) and lock it -a- .
Clip wire harness -4- into the retaining clip -3- (-B- ).
