Removing Rear-Axle Valve Block
WARNING:
Caustic fluids
- Danger of chemical burns
→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.
→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
NOTE:
Aggressive fluids
- Risk of damage to components and surfaces
→ Do not spill fluids.
→ In the event of contact, wash the component or surface with water.
→ Replace components that are already damaged.
- Unscrew and remove fastening screw for protective plate -1- and remove protective plate.
- Unscrew and remove top left fastening screw -2- and bottom fastening screw -3- .
- Disconnect electric plug connection -3- .
- Remove holder -4- .
- Unscrew cap screws on oil pressure lines -1- and pull oil pressure lines out of the valve block.
- Unscrew and remove top right fastening screw -1- . Counter at the nut on the back.
- Mark the installation position of the steel flexi-pipes -2- on the steel flexi-pipes themselves and on the valve block using a suitable touch-up stick -3- .
- Unscrew and remove cap screws on steel flexi-pipes -1- .
- Pull steel flexi-pipes out of the valve block.
Information
- After removing the lines, they must be closed off immediately using a clean cap if you do not intend to install the new valve block straightaway.
- When doing this, make sure that no dirt gets into the system as this can result in system failure.
- Remove valve block.
