Removing Upper Part Of Rear Lid Lock

→ Do not reach into the danger area.

→ Secure the system to prevent it from being activated accidentally.

→ Keep third parties away from the danger area.

Information 

• When removing the upper part of the lid lock with a closing aid, first disconnect the plug connection for the power supply. 
• This prevents the closing aid motor from starting up while you are disconnecting the plug connection/control system. 

1. Switch off ignition and remove remote control.
2. Unclip emergency release -1-  (-2-  ).

3. Loosen fastening screws -3-  for upper part of lid lock.

4. Release plug connection for power supply -4-  (-a-  ) and disconnect it -A-  .

5. Release plug connection for control system -5-  (-a-  ) and disconnect it -A-  .

6. Unscrew the two fastening screws and remove upper part of lid lock.
