Removing The Starter

Installation position of starter (example)

1. Remove protection cap -3-  from over the electric connections for the starter.

2. Screw off fastening nuts -1 and 2-  on the electric connections at the starter.
3. Remove electric connections -3 and 4-  (-arrow-  ).

4. Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1-  on the cable duct.

   Disconnecting connectors at injectors

5. Disconnect connectors for injectors -2-  on both Cylinder banks -arrow-  .
6. Release connectors on the rear knock sensors on both cylinder banks -a-  and disconnect them -arrow-  .

7. Carefully hold the cable duct to one side.
8. Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1-  on the starter.

10. Remove starter.
