Function Test On Front Lid Lock: Notes

Information 

The lid lock does not have an emergency release.

When working close to the front apron and on the various parts of the lock, carry out the following function test before closing the lid:

1. Check that the release cable is clipped fully into the bracket provided.
2. Lock the lower part of the lid lock with a screwdriver.
3. Release the lid lock using the lever in the passenger compartment.
4. Perform a visual inspection to check that the lock releases correctly.
