Installing Upper Part Of Front Lid Lock: Notes

Information 

• The self-locking nuts and screws must always be replaced. 

1. Roughly position upper part of lid lock -2-  .
2. Screw on fastening nuts -1-  but do not tighten them.

3. Close the lid slowly until the clip -1-  for the upper part of the lock is touching the lower part of the lock.
   1. 3.1. The clip -1-  must be centered flush with the slit -2-  in the lower part of the lock.

4. Open the lid again.
5. Tighten fastening nuts to the specified tightening torque. Tightening torque 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
