Removing Spring Strut Mount

Information 

The separated plate will be re-used during installation. The cut is required in order to set all rivets during installation.

1. Cut off corner at the plenum panel.

   Information 

   • Only drill out rivets in the top component layer as far as required so that the component can be removed  .
2. Drill out punch rivets using a twist drill Nr.201  .

   Information 

   • Only drill out rivets in the top component layer as far as required so that the component can be removed  .
   1. 2.1. Drill out punch rivets in area -A-  using a twist drill Nr.201  .

      Information 

      • Drill rivets completely through all component layers  .
   2. 2.2. Drill through punch rivets in area -B-  using a twist drill Nr.201  .

3. Heat up connection areas using a hot-air gun.

4. Remove spring strut mount.
