Installing Front Anti-Roll Bar

WARNING: Wheel bearing housing raised incorrectly
  • Risk of squashing
  • Risk of damage to components

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Do not raise the wheel suspension higher than the normal vehicle position (vehicle resting on wheels).

Information 

  1. Install anti-roll-bar mount according to the marking, along with the anti-roll bar.

    The marking -IN-  must be pointing to the center of the vehicle, while the marking -OUT-  must be pointing to the outside of the vehicle.

  2. Tighten fastening nuts -1-  on the suspension/stabilizer on both sides of the vehicle. Tightening torque 100 Nm (74 ftlb.)

  3. Position the anti-roll bar before tightening the fastening screws on the anti-roll-bar mount (= fastening screws for front-axle support) so that the highest point of the anti-roll bar is positioned at a distance from the frame support (not  the fold!) of -1-  .

    Dimension -1-  is → Control value: 93 mm
