Installing Front Seat

→ Avoid small bending radii when routing lines.

→ File down edges and burrs in the routing area or mask them with adhesive tape.

→ Maintain a sufficient distance from components exposed to high temperatures while driving.

Information 

Always replace the fastening screws on the front seat after customer service and reworking. The micro-self-locking or self-tapping screws must not be treated, greased or loosened and then screwed on again.

1. Place front seat in the vehicle and tilt backwards.
2. Plug in and lock electric plug connection.

3. Route the line under the carpet and close the cut-out in the carpet so that it looks perfect.

4. Fold the seat forward and insert the centering pins -3-  into the cut-outs -4-  on the body.

5. Connect ground strap for battery. → 2X00IN WORK INSTRUCTIONS AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY
6. Move the front seat all the way back and secure it to the front seat frame with the fastening screws -2-  .

   Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ftlb.) +/-5 Nm (+/-3.5 ftlb.)

7. Fit the front covers on the seat rail. Make sure that the cover is also fitted in the guide.

8. Move the front seat all the way forward and secure it to the seat frame with the rear fastening screws -1-  .

   Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ftlb.) +/-5 Nm (+/-3.5 ftlb.)

9. Fit the rear covers on the seat rail. Make sure that the cover is also fitted in the guide.
