Removing Roof Console

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment. 
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant. 
• Some steps must be carried out automatically. 
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.

1. Switch off ignition and remove remote control (hand-held transmitter).
2. Unclip cover for headliner.

3. Unclip headliner at the two side cut-outs -A-  and swivel it downwards -B-  .

4. Lift headliner off towards the rear.

5. Disconnect wire harness.
   1. 5.1. Release plug connections -a-  and disconnect them -B-  .
   2. 5.2. Unclip fixing clip for wire harness using disassembly tool Nr.21  (-C-  ).
