Removing Air Vent

Information 

The description relates to the right side in direction of travel. The same procedure applies for the left side.

  1. Unscrew and remove the two fastening screws -1-  on the air vent.

  2. Unscrew and remove fastening nut -1-  on the B-pillar air guide.

  3. Pull air vent out of the rear air guide at the center -1-  , out of the air guide on the B-pillar -2-  and out of the air guide on the front center console -3-  and remove it.

  4. Remove the two line brackets -2-  from the air vent.

  5. Release electric plug connection for the temperature sensor -a-  and disconnect it -arrow A-  .

  6. Release and disconnect electric plug connections for the servo motors.

  7. Pull the air vent up and off.
