Removing Pulley (Vibration Balancer)
- Counter-hold tool 9679/3 with the rectangular tube from holding wrench 9732 must be inserted into the vibration damper and turned until it locks. → see Fig 1
- Fit the large torque wrench or T-piece -2-
and use a tubular handle if necessary -1-

- 2.1. Undo the central screw of the damper. Do not use the screw again.
- 2.2. Use a tubular handle -1-
if necessary.NOTE: Incorrect handling of tools
- Risk of damage to the body
→ Only use tools approved by Porsche.
→ Always ensure that the tool is seated correctly.
→ Protect the body and interior of the vehicle from damage with protective covers.
→ Cover delicate components with cardboard or sheetmetal panels.
Information
Protect the radiator fins using cardboard or a sheetmetal panel to prevent damage.
Cover wing and peripheral parts to protect them.
- 2.3. Loosening torque is very high
- Remove central screw and pull vibration damper down and forward. → see Fig 3
