Installing Oil Pressure Control Valve

Information 

The tightening specifications for the basic engine are stored centrally.

Tightening torques and assembly instructions for other assemblies (e.g. chassis, electrics, transmission or body) or for peripheral engine equipment can be found in the corresponding documents.

Information 

• All O-rings must be replaced with new ones when re-installing the oil pressure control valve. 
• Coat the O-rings with Vaseline or engine oil before installing the oil pressure control valve. 
• Check the position of the bore hole compared with the nipple when positioning the flange. 

1. The oil pressure control valve is installed in reverse order to removal.
2. Screw in oil pressure control valve and tighten according to tightening specifications.

   > Tightening torque 40 Nm (30 ftlb.) 

3. Secure the joint flange with a new O-ring at the oil pan.

   Fit and tighten screws.

   > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
