Removing Cooling Fan Housing

→ Switch off electric power to drive motor.

→ Make sure it does not switch on again.

→ Check that there is no electric charge.

1. Release and disconnect electric push-on connector.

2. Disconnect wire harness at the cooling fan housing.
   1. 2.1. Open clips.
   2. 2.2. Remove wire harness from clips -2 and 3-  and set it aside.
   3. 2.3. Pull cable out of the lower cable clip -1 and 4-  on the cooling fan housing.

3. Unclip cooling lines from the active chassis and set them aside.

   Only for vehicles with PDCC (Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control).

4. Loosen mounting -1-  for hydraulic lines to the power-steering cooler. Carefully pull hydraulic lines -2-  aside.

5. Loosen side catches on both sides.
   1. 5.1. Lift up fixing clips -1-  with the blade of a screwdriver and press them aside.
   2. 5.2. Fold side catches to the rear.

6. Unscrew and remove lower fastening screws -1-  .
7. Carefully remove cooling fan housing -2-  by pulling it down.
