Installing Switching Element For Filler Flap

Connect plug connection until it engages securely.

Guide locking pin for switching element for filler flap into the recess in the filler flap.
Guide switching element for filler flap -1- into the bracket -arrow- and place in installation position.

1. 3.1. Position switching element -1- so that the projection -x- of the locking pin -3- is 3 to 4 mm when retracted.

  Information
  
  The holder might have to be re-bent in order to position the locking pin correctly.
Tighten fastening screws -2- for the filler flap switching element to → Tightening torque: 2.2 Nm (1.5 ftlb.)+10 % in order to secure it to the holder.
Install control unit for electronic parking brake.
1. 5.1. Place control unit for electronic parking brake in installation position.
2. 5.2. Screw in fastening screws -3- .

Carry out function test with the filler flap open.
