Installing Generator

Information 

Tightening torques, tightening sequence and assembly overviews for the engine and transmission:

• Group 1: 

  > Refer to 1X00IN Technical values in the appropriate service information. 

• Group 2: 

  > Refer to 2X00IN Technical values in the appropriate service information. 

• Group 3: 

  > Refer to 3X00IN Technical values in the appropriate service information. 

The generator is installed in reverse order to removal.

1. Fitting cable guide:

   Fit the generator.

   Fit cable guide and secure it with the fastening screw.

   The generator is screwed to the engine.

   Insert B+ line into the retaining clip and screw it to the generator.

   Only now should you lift the cable guide against its stop and tighten the fastening screw.
