Checking The Cooling System For Leaks

  1. Check the engine coolant level. See above. Top up to the maximum fill level if necessary.
  2. Screw adapter K65 onto the coolant expansion tank. Then apply a test pressure of approx. 1.5 bar using the cooling system test device and check the hose connections, connection pieces, cooling system components for leaks. The pressure must not drop. There must be no drops of coolant.
