Installing Upper Part Of B-Pillar Trim Panel

Information 

Check that all fixing clips are positioned fully and correctly.

Check that the fixing clips are not bent or broken.

Replace damaged or missing clips with new ones.

1. Move belt adjustment cover panel -1-  into installation position.
   1. 1.1. Push belt adjustment cover panel -1-  up.
   2. 1.2. Clip in locking lug -2-  .

2. Move seat belt -3-  to the top end position.

   Install B-pillar trim panel.

3. Feed the seat belt through the opening in the cover panel.
4. Fit top of B-pillar trim panel into the sheetmetal bracket.
5. Swivel in B-pillar trim panel.
6. Position center fixing clips and clip in trim panel.

7. Position outer fixing clips and clip in trim panel.

8. Secure B-pillar trim panel at the top.
   1. 8.1. Tighten fastening screw -5-  to the specified tightening torque Tightening torque 5.5 Nm (4 ftlb.) until secure.
   2. 8.2. Clip in cover -6-  .
