Removing Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)

1. 1.1. Pull off cable plug on electric disc valve.
2. 1.2. Pull off vacuum line.
3. 1.3. Unscrew M6 screw and remove electric disc valve.

Unscrew screw -1-  , remove speed sender -2-  and place it safely aside.

Release safety clips -1-  on Henn couplings and pull off coolant hoses -2-  .

1. 4.1. Fit restraining strap.

   Fit the restraining strap -1-  around the transmission bell housing and front transmission cover. Get another person to help lift the front transmission cover and guide the restraining strap through. Fit the restraining strap in such a way that the load is distributed uniformly.

   NOTE: Engine housing overload.

   • Risk of engine damage if housing breaks.

   → Observe loosening and tightening sequence!

   → Loosening sequence: Loosen screws from the bottom up.

   → Tightening sequence: Tighten screws from top to bottom.

2. 4.2. Remove Porsche Doppelkupplung.

   Loosen and unscrew M12 screws first -1, 2-  , then -6, 5, 3-  and finally -4-  .

3. 4.3. Remove Porsche Doppelkupplung by guiding it towards the rear.
