Installing Multi-Functional Switch

Information 

• When connecting the multi-functional switch to the selector lever, the multi-functional switch must not be tilted or pushed with force onto the selector lever. Otherwise there is a risk of damaging the switch contact  .

1. Connect multi-functional switch to the selector shaft. The flattened area of the switch splines -1-  must be covered with the flattened side of the selector shaft splines. -2-  .

2. Connect multi-functional switch to transmission housing. To do this, turn the multi-functional switch until the dowel pin -3-  on the transmission housing is covered by the fitted bore -4-  on the housing of the multi-functional switch.

3. Screw in fastening screws between multi-functional switch and transmission.

4. Connect the plug connection for the multi-function switch.

5. Screw in fastening screws between the body and the hydraulic mount -arrows-  .
   1. Transmission support
   2. Hydraulic mount
   3. Fastening nut (never loosen)

6. Screw in fastening screws between the transmission and the transmission support.

7. Remove transmission jack.
8. Engage selector cable in support bracket and push onto ball journals.
