Removing Control Unit For Convertible Top

Information 

There are two relays on the 987 - one for opening the convertible top and the other for closing it.

The relays are installed in the relay carrier on the driver's side, under the dashboard.

  1. Remove relay carrier. → REMOVING RELAY CARRIER 1
  2. Read off the relay assignment from the wiring diagram for the relevant model and model year and remove the required relay.
