Assembling Hood Compartment Lid

Position and fit outer edge protection -5- on the hood compartment lid -arrows- .

Position and fit inner edge protection -4- on the hood compartment lid -arrow- and secure with the fastening screws -3- (-arrows-) . → Tightening torque: 2.8 Nm (2 ftlb.)

Screw in locating peg -2- on the hood compartment lid -arrow-. → Tightening torque: 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

Information

Bonding surfaces must be clean and free of grease.
Pull protective paper off the foam pad -1- and stick it on at the specified positions on the hood compartment lid -arrows- .
