Installing Tension Straps

Information
If the aluminum rivets for securing the tension strap are drilled out too big/too deeply, the main folding top bow and corner bow can become damaged. Check the drill bit diameter and drill depth required for the rivets from the parts package (rivets → Diameter: 4 mm → Length: 12 mm).

- During repair work, drilling chips can fall into the inside of the tension bow when boring out blind rivets.
- For corrosion protection reasons, the tension bow must be cleared using compressed air. The tension bow must then be treated with cavity preservation.

- Place top tension strap -1-
on the inside of the main folding top bow -2-
, position correctly and secure with a blind rivet -3-
