Removing Starter

  1. Disconnect electric plug connections on the solenoid switch.
    1. 1.1. Pull off the cover -1- (-arrow-). 
    2. 1.2. Screw off fastening nut -2-  on terminal 50 line and remove terminal 50 line.
    3. 1.3. Screw off fastening nut -3-  on terminal 30 line and remove terminal 30 line.

  2. Remove the starter.
    1. 2.1. Mask the seam of the engine compartment cut-out with adhesive tape -1-  in order to avoid damaging the paintwork when unscrewing the fastening screws.
    2. 2.2. Unscrew fastening screws -3-  using an extra-long extension -2-  .
    3. 2.3. Lift up the starter at the rear and remove it by pulling it up.
