Removing Transmission

WARNING:
Vehicle can fall down
- Risk of squashing or crushing
- Risk of damage to the vehicle
→ Do not place any solid objects under the raised vehicle.
→ Ensure that the lifting platform is prevented from lowering.
→ Remove solid objects before lowering the vehicle.
→ Raise the vehicle only at the jacking points provided.
→ The outer jacking points should be used primarily.
- Place transmission jack under transmission and fasten fixing strap.
- Remove cross member.
- Unscrew fastening screws between the transmission and the transmission support.
Information
The fastening nuts of the transmission support must never be loosened at the hydraulic mount because otherwise the transmission brackets will be damaged.
- Unscrew fastening screws between the body and hydraulic mount -arrow-
and remove transmission support with hydraulic mount.

- Fastening nut (never loosen)
Information
- The clutch pedal must not be pressed if the clutch slave cylinder has been removed. Danger of injury from the push rod which can be pressed out of the slave cylinder hydraulically. Affix a warning note in the vehicle!
- Remove the clutch slave cylinder but do not disconnect the clutch line while doing so. → REMOVING
- Unscrew fastening screws -1 to 7- and pull out transmission to the rear and downwards.
