Installing Hood: Notes

- Guide the hood -1- at the front into the mounts on the windscreen frame -arrows- .
- Swivel the locking lever -1-
for the front lock towards the rear and engage it -arrow A-

- 2.1. The locking hook -2- must engage in the windscreen frame.
- 2.2. The white marking line on the red locking button -arrow B- must become visible when the hood is locked properly.
Information
Install hood.
- Make sure that the centering pins are seated securely in the mounts on both sides.
- Make sure not to trap or squash your fingers under the tensioning lever when tensioning the hood.
- Unroll the hood -3- and insert the pins for the corner bow tube -1- into the guide sleeves on the roll-over bars -2- (-arrows-) .
- Remove the retaining eyelet of the tension rope -1- from the storage pocket on the hood -2- (-arrow-) .
- Engage the retaining eyelet of the tension rope at the fastening hook under the roll-over bar on the left-hand side of the vehicle -arrows- .
- Detach the red tensioning lever -1- on the right-hand side of the vehicle. To do this, press the release handle on the underside of the tensioning lever.
- Engage the retaining eyelet of the tension rope -2- at the fastening hook on the tensioning lever.
- Press the tensioning lever down until it locks with an audible click.
Information
If the hood is used without the weather protector, the hood must then be tensioned at the rear lid.
