Installing Control Unit For Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM)

Information 

Before installing the control unit for Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM), visually check the control unit and plug connection with regard to the following points:

• Damage to the housing  .
• Damage to the contacts on the control unit  .
• Damage to the connector and contacts on the vehicle wire harness  .
• Dirty contacts  .

If the control unit is damaged, replace it.

If the wire harness, connector or contacts are damaged, repair them in accordance with the relevant safety instructions using the Repair kit for Cayenne wire harnesses NR.155-2  .

If the contacts are dirty, clean them.

1. Plug in electric connector on the control unit and lock connector -B-  .

2. Position control unit and secure with both fastening nuts.
