Additional Information On Suspension Alignment

Wheel alignment should not be performed on vehicles with a mileage of between 0 and 200 km (124 miles). The settling behaviour of the Cayenne is only complete after this.

Based on this settling behaviour, a control value for track adjustment on the front axle is introduced in addition to the usual adjustment values during suspension alignment. The upper tolerance limit of the control value is higher than the upper tolerance limit of the adjustment value. Track adjustment is only performed if the control value on the vehicle is above or below the tolerance limit.

If suspension alignment must be carried out on a vehicle within the first 200 km (124 miles), e.g. following repairs arising from an accident, the adjustment values must be used as a basis for tracking. The tracking should be adjusted to the upper tolerance limit on the front and rear axle.

The control value, for the front axle, is listed along with the adjustment values.
